WHEREAS, on August 5, 1996,,bids were received for the construction of a new
4,000,000 Gallon Ground Storage Reservoir located near the Prison Complex Pump
Station in Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Bo-Mac Contractors submitted a bid in the amount of$1,194,476.00;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Bo-Mac
Contractors should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Bo-Mac Contractors for the construction of a new 4,000,000
Gallon Ground Storage Reservoir near the Prison Complex Pump Station site in Beaumont
in the amount of $1,194,476.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such project.
