RESOLUTION NO. �
WHEREAS, on Monday, July 8, 1996, bids were received for an annual contract to
furnish containers and solid waste collection for twenty-seven (27) City facilities; and,
WHEREAS, Browning-Ferris, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$3,454.29 per
month; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Browning-Ferris,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Browning-Ferris, Inc. for an annual contract for furnishing
containers and solid waste collection for twenty-seven (27) City facilities in the amount of
$3,454.29 per month be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
