.WHEREAS, on Monday, June 24, 1996, sealed bids were received for an annual
contract to provide wrecker services to the Fleet Management Division; and,
WHEREAS, TNT Wrecker Service a bid in the following amounts:
Fleet Towing TNT Wrecker Service
Beaumont, TX
Appx. 500 Towing - Light Duty $ 20.00/each
Appx 100 Towing - Heavy Duty $ 50.00/each
Jump Start -Light Dut $ 5.00/each
Jump Start - Heavy Duty $ 5.00/each
Pull Out - Li ht Dut $ 20.00/each
Pull Out - Heavy Duty $ 50.00/each_l
Work Time - 1/10th hour $ 5.00/tenth
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by TNT Wrecker
Service should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by TNT Wrecker Service for an annual contract to provide wrecker
services to the Fleet Management Division in the above stated amounts be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the d day of
1996.
