ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING ALL DEDICATED
STREETS AND ALLEYS NORTH OF BUFORD STREET
BETWEEN WALLACE AND GREER STREETS IN THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT all dedicated streets and alleys north of Buford Street Between Wallace and Greer
Streets in the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, are hereby vacated, abandoned, and that title to such property shall
revert to and become the property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law..

After investigating the cloning of Palace
and Leonard Streets, as shorn on the accompanying
I find that Leonard. Street, for the entire distance

solely because we believe it is very important to the future
development Of the City Of Bestuaont, being the largest piece

This corpany does not w.at to dispore of pieces

or lots, but feel@ its patriotic duty the land is to hold this land
until some large enterprise can use it to the adrantsge of
the surrounding country.

It is somewhat cut up by certain alleys and streets

following streets;
Palace Street - which is an alley running from Buford
Street and serving certain properties which we bought .
The alley termiknates in the center of our property with the I
