WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for an annual contract to furnish ready mix
concrete for the Streets and Drainage Division and the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Transit Mix Concrete and Materials Co. submitted a bid as follows:
1/4 - 2 cu/yd 2-1/4 - 4-3/4 cu/yd

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Transit Mix
Concrete and Materials should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transit Mix Concrete and Materials for the purchase of ready
mix concrete for the Streets and Drainage Division and the Water Utilities Department in
the above stated amounts be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
