RESOLUTION NO. _
WHEREAS, bids were received April 22, 1996 for Sanitary Sewer System Contract
Number Four, Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements-Clarifiers/Thickeners; and,
WHEREAS, Crain Brothers, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $1,147,600.00;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Crain Brothers,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Crain Brothers, Inc. for Sanitary Sewer System Contract
Number Four, Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements-Clarifiers/Thickeners in the
amount of$1,147,600.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be
and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the Ila day of
1996.
