WHEREAS, on Monday, May 20, 1996, bids were received for an annual contract
to provide caustic soda for the Water Production Plant; and,
WHEREAS, DX Industries, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$253.00 per ton;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by DX Industries,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by DX Industries, Inc. for the purchase of caustic soda for the
Water Production Plant in the amount of $253.00 per ton be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the _ZLZZ-- day of
1996.
