WHEREAS, on April 12, 1995, City Council authorized the City Manager to enter
into a contract with Brandon Mechanical & Electrical for the Water Service Line
Replacement Contract III in the amount of$99,200.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was created to increase the Contract amount to
$103,058.91; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 and Final is being requested to reduce the
Contract price by $6,926.68 due to the reduction of the amount of work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 2,
as stated above, with Brandon Mechanical & Electrical. The project as stated above be
and the same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
make final payment in the amount of$4,613.65.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 2 day of
