RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, on Monday, May 20, 1996 bids were received for the purchase of two
(2) forensic light sources for the Beaumont Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Southwestern Engineering and Equipment Company submitted a bid
in the amount of$16,125 for one (1) Polilight, PL-10, forensic light source and $4,818 for
one (1) Poliray, Portable forensic light source; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Southwestern
Engineering and Equipment Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Southwestern Engineering and Equipment Company for one
(1) Polilight, PL-10, forensic light source in the amount of $16,125 and one (1) Poliray,
Portable forensic light source in the amount of$4,818 for the Beaumont Police Department
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the ;/ day
