WHEREAS, on Wednesday, May 29, 1996 bids were received for furnishing
approximately 785 lunches per day for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)
sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Regal Food Service, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$1.8795 per
lunch; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Regal Food
Service, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT-
THAT the bid submitted by Regal Food Service, Inc., Houston, Texas to furnish
approximately 785 lunches per day for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)
sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department in the amount of $1.8795 per lunch.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
of 1996.
