HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 96-131 RESOLUTION NO. _ WHEREAS, on March 26, 1996, City Council awarded the South Park Drainage Project Phase I contract to Allco, Inc. in the amount of $2,947,124.24; and, WHEREAS, City Council authorization is being requested to modify the existing contract to pay Allco, Inc. for materials on hand due to the installation of concrete box culverts and water lines which require an initial investment at an estimated cost of $1,150,000; and, WHEREAS, if Allco, Inc. can purchase the needed materials in this manner it will allow the project to be completed more rapidly; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to modify the existing contract with Allco, Inc. for the South Park Drainage Project Phase I as to allow payment for materials on hand up to $1,150,000 at a maximum rate of $375,000 per month.
