WHEREAS, on Monday, May 8, 1996, sealed bids were received for the purchase
of two (2) twenty-four inch (24") vertical axial flow propeller pumps for the Water Utilities
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Pumps and Equipment of Texas, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$48,800; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Pumps and
Equipment of Texas, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Pumps and Equipment of Texas, Inc. for the purchase of two
(2) twenty-four inch (24") vertical axial flow propeller pumps for the Water Utilities
Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
