WHEREAS, bids were received for purchase of one (1) tandem axle cab and
chassis for the Water Utilties Department; and,
WHEREAS, Smart's Truck & Trailer submitted a bid in the amount of$80,901 for
a 1996 Volvo tandem axle cab and chassis equipped with a Tulsa 65,000 lb. winch;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Smart's
Truck & Trailer should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Smart's Truck & Trailer for the purchase of a 1996 Volvo
tandem axle cab and chassis equipped with a Tulsa 65,000 lb. winch in the amount of
$80,901 for the Water Utilities Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day
