WHEREAS, on April 22, 1996, bids were received for the water and sewer system
improvements for Major Drive between College Street and Walden Road; and,
WHEREAS, Brystar Contracting, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $299,695.00;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Brystar
Contracting, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Brystar Contracting, Inc. for the water and sewer improvements
for Major Drive between College Street and Walden Road in the amount of $299,695.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute a contract for such services.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
