WHEREAS, on April 1, 1996, bids were received for furnishing and installing two
(2) traveling water screens at the Water Production Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Allco, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $291,766.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Allco, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Allco, Inc. for furnishing and installing two (2) traveling water
screens at the Water Production Plant in the amount of$291,766.00 be accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a
contract for such services.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the, Zday of
1996.
