WHEREAS, on March 4, 1996, bids were received for furnishing all labor, materials,
and equipment required for the clearing of sixteen (16) adjacent parcels of property located
in the 400 block of Mary and the 400 block of Neicy in South Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Nehemiah Construction, Inc. submitted a bid of $14,280.00 with an
additional price of $2,875 per lot for soil stabilization, if required; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Nehemiah
Construction, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Nehemiah Construction, Inc. for furnishing all labor, materials,
and equipment required for the clearing of sixteen (16) adjacent parcels of property located
in the 400 block of Mary and the 400 block of Neicy in South Beaumont in the amount of
$14,280.00 with an additional price of $2,875 per lot for soil stabilization, if required, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
