WHEREAS, on January 29, 1996, sealed bids were received for a six-month
contract for the purchase of road oil for the Streets and Drainage Division/Public Works
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the following companies submitted a bids;
KOCH SS-1 $ .65/gal
MATERIALS,
F.O.B. PLANTSITE RS-2 $ 65/gal
AES-300 $ .70/gal
AE-P $ .78/gal
DIXIE MATERIALS, RC-250 $ .80/gal
F.O.B. PLANTSITE
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Koch Materials
and Dixie Materials should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Koch Materials and Dixie Materials for a six month contract
for the purchase of road oil for the Streets and Drainage Division/Public Works Department
in the above amounts be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
