WHEREAS, on January 8, 1996, bids were received for furnishing all labor,
materials, and equipment required for the clearing of ten (10) adjacent parcels of property
located in the 2200 block of Sabine Pass, the 400 block of Neicy and the 400 block of
Flowers in South Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, American Remediation submitted a bid of$28,495.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by American
Remediation should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by American Remediation for furnishing all labor, materials, and
equipment required for the clearing of ten (10) adjacent parcels of property located in the
2200 block of Sabine Pass, the 400 block of Neicy and the 400 block of Flowers in South
Beaumont in the amount of$28,495.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
