BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby authorizes the Solid Waste Management Department to
apply for and accept, if awarded, a grant from the Southeast Texas Regional Planning
Commission (SETRPC) in the amount of$115,000 for a professionally conducted public
media campaign designed to increase participation in curbside recycling.
