WHEREAS, the claim of Ernest Harris, III has been discussed in an Executive
Session properly called and held Tuesday, November 18, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Ernest Harris,
III in the amount of Twenty-Two Thousand ($22,000) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day
of December, 2003.
