WHEREAS, the claim of Shamyra Bessard-Barry has been discussed in an
Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, December 16, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Shamyra
Bessard-Barry in the amount of Nine-Thousand ($9,000) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
December, 2003.
