RESOLUTION NO. 03-266
WHEREAS, Drainage#6 has agreed to convey a watertower site(Special Warranty
Deed) and an adjacent thirty-foot (30') wide Utility Easement, along the south side of
Dishman Road as described below and on Exhibit "A" attached hereto:
Tract 1 Water Tower Site - a 0.918 acre
tract of land in the A. Houston
Survey, Abstract 33 [200' x 200'].
Tract 2 Utility Easement - a 0.132 acre
tract of land in the A. Houston
Survey, Abstract 33 [adjacent to
and east of water tower site]
and,
WHEREAS,the City Council has considered the donation of said property rights and
is of the opinion that the donations are necessary and desirable and that same should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREF=ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the land and easement donated by Drainage District #6 are hereby accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 9th day of
December, 2003.
