WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, July 13, 1998 for furnishing all labor, materials,
supplies and equipment for painting the interior of the Beaumont Public Library; and,
WHEREAS, Haygood Paint Contracting submitted a bid in the amount of $61,800; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Haygood Paint
Contracting for furnishing all labor, materials, supplies and equipment for painting the interior of
the Beaumont Public Library should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Haygood Paint Contracting for furnishing all labor, materials, supplies
and equipment for painting the interior of the Beaumont Public Library in the amount of$61,800
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
the contract with Haygood Paint Contracting for such project.
