WHEREAS, sealed bids were received Monday, May 18, 1998, for an annual contract to
provide uniforms for fire department personnel; and,
WHEREAS, Lone Star Uniform, Houston, Texas submitted a bid for a total annual
estimated expenditure of $19,599.62 as shown below

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lone Star Uniform,
Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.-
THAT the bid submitted by Lone Star Uniform, Houston, Texas, for a total annual estimated
expenditure of$19,599.62 in the amounts shown above for be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
