WHEREAS, bids were received Tuesday, May 26, 1998, for the purchase of City
employee work uniforms, excluding Fire and Police uniforms; and,
WHEREAS, Shepherd's Uniform & Linen Supply Company of Beaumont, submitted
a bid in the amounts shown below for an approximate annual expenditure of $31,233.00:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Shepherd's Uniform
& Linen Supply Company of Beaumont for the purchase of City employee work uniforms,
excluding Fire and Police uniforms, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Shepherd's Uniform & Linen Supply Company of Beaumont for the
purchase of City employee work uniforms, excluding Fire and Police uniforms, in the amounts
shown above for an approximate annual expenditure of $31,233.00 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
