WHEREAS, bids were received Monday, May 4, 1998, for the repair and repainting
of the interior of the 1,000,000 gallon elevated storage tank located in Beaumont, at
Washington Boulevard and Municipal Drive; and,
WHEREAS, Coatings, Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of $217,432.00; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coatings, Inc., should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coatings, Inc. for the repair and repainting of the interior of the
1,000,000 gallon elevated storage tank in Beaumont, at Washington Boulevard and Municipal
Drive, in the amount of $217,432.00, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1998.
