WHEREAS, the claim of Dorris Livings has been discussed in an Executive Session
properly called and held March 24, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Dorris Livings
in the amount of Seven-Thousand Five-Hundred ($7,500.00) Dollars.
