WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, April 20, 1998 for the purchase of a 60,000 lb.
capacity, rough terrain forklift for the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Southline Equipment Company submitted a bid in the amount of$35,155.00,
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Southline Equipment
Company for the purchase of one (1) Sellick SG-6- low profile, rough terrain forklift to be used by
the Water Utilities Department should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Southline Equipment Company for the purchase of one (1) Sellick SG-
6- low profile, rough terrain forklift to be used by the Water Utilities Department in the amount of
$35,155.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1998.
