WHEREAS, sealed bids were received Monday, April 6, 1998, for an annual
contract to furnish approximately forty (40) sets of fire protective clothing for the Beaumont
Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Wilson Fire/NAFECO, submitted a bid in the amount of$866.70 each
set; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Wilson Fire/NAFECO,
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wilson Fire/NAFECO for the purchase of approximately forty (40) sets
of fire protective clothing in the amount of$866.70 each set be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
