WHEREAS sealed bids were received on Monday, April 20, 1998, for the construction of
the Alice Keith Park Pool Facility; and,
WHEREAS, SeTEX Construction Corporation submitted a bid in the amount of
$1,155,000.00 and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by SeTEX Construction
Corporation should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract with SeTEX
Construction Corporation in the amount of $1,155,000.00 for the construction of the Alice Keith
Park Pool Facility.
