WHEREAS, sealed bids were received Monday, April 6, 1998, for the purchase of
210 feet of concrete box culverts for the Public Works Department, Engineering Division;
and,
WHEREAS, Gifford Hill Concrete Products, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $33,144.30; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Gifford Hill Concrete
Products, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Gifford Hill Concrete Products, Houston, Texas for the purchase of
210 feet of concrete box culverts for the Public Works Department, Engineering Division in the
amount of $33,144.30 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
