WHEREAS, City Council authorized Resolution 97-264 on Tuesday, October 28,
1997 approving the purchase of seventeen (17) trunk-mounted video cameras and body
packs for the Beaumont Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Eagleye Technologies, Rome, Georgia, was the vendor chosen with
the bid giving the option to purchase additional equipment within a six-(6) month period
at the original quoted prices, the Police Department has requested an additional twenty
(20) cameras and body packs as below

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the City should exercise its option to
purchase additional video equipment from Eagleye Technologies, Rome, Georgia;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City should exercise its option to purchase additional cameras and body packs
from Eagleye Technologies, Rome, Georgia in the amount shown above.
