WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, March 16, 1998 for the purchase of one (1) ton
diesel powered service truck equipped with a utility body, air compressor and crane to be used
by the Fleet Management Division; and,
WHEREAS, McCombs Fleet Service submitted a bid in the amount of $44,573.00, and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by McCombs Fleet Service
for the purchase of a one-(1) ton diesel powered service truck equipped with a utility body, air
compressor and crane to be used by the Fleet Management Division should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by McCombs Fleet Service for the purchase of one (1) 1999 Ford Super
Duty F350 model truck equipped with a DuTec utility body, a 15-foot truck mounted crane and a
20 ACFM gasoline powered air compressor in the amount of$44,573.00 be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
