WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, February 2, 1998 for an annual
contract for the purchase of phosphate water treatment chemical to be used at the Water
Production Plant, a division of the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Technical Products Corporation, Peru, Illinois, submitted a bid in the
amount as shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Technical
Product Corporation, Peru, Illinois, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Technical Product Corporation, Peru, Illinois, in the amount
shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
