BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to waive the rental fees
(approximately $600) at the Civic Center for an event designed to help veterans and
homeless persons living in Southeast Texas. This event is to be held on September 25,
1998 and will be hosted by the Task Force for Houston Area Homeless Veterans, VA
Outpatient Clinic and other local nonprofit organizations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City hereby approves the waiving of the rental fees
at the Civic Center for the above-referenced event.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1998.
