WHEREAS bids were received on Monday, February 23, 1998 for the purchase of a track
dozer for the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mustang Tractor& Equipment submitted a bid in the amount of$149,379.00,
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor &
Equipment for the purchase of a track dozer for the Water Utilities Department in the amount of
$149,379.00 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor & Equipment for the purchase of a Caterpillar D6M
LPG track dozer in the amount of $149,379.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
