WHEREAS, the claim of Southwestern Bell has been discussed in an Executive
Session March 3, 1998 properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Southwestern
Bell in the amount of Nineteen-Thousand One-Hundred Thirty-One Dollars and Thirty-
Seven Cents ($19,131.37).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the /7 day of
1998.
