WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Lori Lacy et al V. City of Beaumont, et al, has been
discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, February 24, 1998;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of Lori Lacy
et al v. City of Beaumont, et al in the amount of Three-Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand
($335,000.00) Dollars.
