WHEREAS, the lawsuit of Brenda Roy v. City of Beaumont et al, has been
discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, February 24, 1998;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of Brenda
Roy v. City of Beaumont, et al in the amount of Fifteen-Thousand ($15,000.00) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 9W day
