WHEREAS, on Monday, February 2, 1998, sealed bids were received for a one (1)
year contract for gaskets, couplings, meter boxes, ells, street ells, bushing reducers,
manhole covers, plugs, and wyes which are used for various sewer line repairs for the
Water Utilities Department, Sewer Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply Company, Inc., Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the
amounts shown below;

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coburn Supply
Company, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, for a one (1) year contract for gaskets, couplings, meter
boxes, ells, street ells, bushing reducers, manhole covers, plugs, and wyes which are used
for various sewer line repairs for the Water Utilities Department, Sewer Maintenance
Division in the amounts shown above should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn Supply Company, Inc., Beaumont, Texas for a one (1)
year contract for gaskets, couplings, meter boxes, ells, street ells, bushing reducers,
manhole covers, plugs, and wyes which are used for various sewer line repairs for the
Water Utilities Department, Sewer Maintenance Division in the amounts shown above be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
