WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, February 2, 1998 for providing
property damage insurance for City owned property; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Municipal League-Intergovernmental Risk Pool, Austin, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $84,998.00; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Texas Municipal
League-Intergovernmental Risk Pool, Austin, Texas for providing property damage insurance for
City owned property in the amount of$84,998.00 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Texas Municipal League-I ntergovernmentaI Risk Pool, Austin, Texas
for providing property damage insurance for City owned property in the amount of$84,998.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1998.
