WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a 55 HP tractor equipped with a front
end loader to be used in the maintenance of the grounds at the Water Production Plant located
at 1550 Pine Street; and,
WHEREAS, Eastex Farm & Home, Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid of $19,768.50; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Eastex Farm & Home,
Beaumont, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Eastex Farm & Home in the amount of$19,768.50 for the purchase
of one (1) John Deere Model 5310 tractor and Model 520 front end loader be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1998.
