WHEREAS, a large tract of land, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was
acquired in the name of the City of Beaumont for the Charlton Pollard Neighborhood
Revitalization Project; and
WHEREAS, this tract of land should be transferred as shown to:
Southeast Texas Community Development Corporation, Inc.
Lots 1 through 10, Block 1
Texas Commerce Shareholders
Lots 11 through 13, Block 1
Statewide Community Development Corporation, Inc.
Lot 14, Block 1
for the construction of new homes for the Charlton Pollard Neighborhood Revitalization
Project; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute deeds conveying Lots
1 through 10, Block 1, to the Southeast Texas Community Development Corporation, Inc.,
Lots 11 through 13, Block 1 to Texas Commerce Shareholders, and Lot 14, Block 1 to
Statewide Community Development Corporation, Inc. for the construction of new homes
for the Charlton Pollard Neighborhood Revitalization Project.
