WHEREAS, on Monday, December 1, 1997, sealed bids were received for the
annual contract for the purchase of potable water treatment chemicals to be used at the
Water Production Plant, a division of the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, the following vendors submitted bids in the amounts shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by the vendors
shown above should be accepted in the amounts as shown;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by the above vendors for annual contracts for the purchase of
potable water treatment chemicals to be used at the Water Production Plant, a division of
the Water Utilities Department in the amounts shown above be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
