WHEREAS, two (2) proposals were received for the purchase and installation of an
event management software system to replace the existing software system used by the
Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB); and,
WHEREAS, Ungerboeck Systems, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$18,900.00
as shown below:

Total cost for the five (5) modules: Event Sales&Marketing, InfoMaker Query&
Reporting,System Access Manager,Tour Sales&Marketing,Visitor Inquiry(8 users) $11,500.00
Sybase SQL Anywhere Database (Third party language for software integration) $1,000.00
Conversion of files from existing software $2,900.00
On-site Training (Approximately 3 '/days @ $1,000.00 per day plus reasonable
lodging and travel expenses) $3,500.00
TOTAL ESTIMATED COST $18,900.00
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted Ungerboeck
Systems, Inc. in the amount of$18,900.00, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ungerboeck Systems, Inc. for the purchase and installation of
an event management software system to replace the existing software system used by
the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB); in the amount of $18,900.00 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
