WHEREAS, on Monday, December 15, 1997, bids were received for furnishing all
labor, materials, and supplies necessary to construct anew pre-engineered metal building
at the Water Treatment Plant located at 1550 Pine Street; and,
WHEREAS,Action Construction, Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of$23,384.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Action
Construction for furnishing and installing a new pre-engineered metal building at the Water
Treatment Plant located at 1550 Pine Street in the amount of $23,384.00 should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Action Construction for furnishing and installing a new pre-
engineered metal building at the Water Treatment Plant located at 1550 Pine Street in the
amount of$23,384.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
