WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, December 22, 1997 for the purchase
of four (4) lighting systems for the Parks and Recreation Department's sand volleyball
courts located at the Athletic Complex on College Street; and,
WHEREAS, Musco Lighting of South Texas, Willis, Texas submitted a bid in the
amount of$31,394.00 as shown below:

base, electrical component enclosures,
steel poles, wire harnesses, and five
(5) poletop luminaire assemblies.

GRAND TOTAL $31,394.00
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted Musco Lighting of
South Texas in the amount of$31,394.00, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Musco Lighting of South Texas,Willis, Texas for the purchase
of four (4) lighting systems for the Parks and Recreation Department's sand volleyball
courts located at the Athletic Complex on College Street in the amount of$31,394.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
