WHEREAS, on Monday, January 5, 1998, bids were received for the purchase of
one (1) 1997 Ford F350 cab and chassis for the Emergency Medical Services Division
(EMS) ; and,
WHEREAS, Philpott Motors, Inc., Port Neches, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$27,518.00; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Philpott Motors, Inc.
for the purchase of (1) 1997 Ford F350 cab and chassis for the Emergency Medical Services
Division (EMS) in the amount of$27,518.00 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Philpott Motors, Inc. for the purchase of(1) 1997 Ford F350 cab and
chassis for the Emergency Medical Services Division (EMS) in the amount of $27,518.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
