WHEREAS, the claim of Michael Harris has been discussed in an Executive
Session properly called and held Tuesday, November 18, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Michael Harris
in the amount of Twelve-Thousand Five-Hundred Thousand ($12,500) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of
November 25, 2003.
