ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 25,
SECTION 25-51 (C) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT CONCERNING THE HOTEL-
MOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1 .
That Chapter 25, Section 25-51 (C) of the Code ;af:
Ordinances of the City of Beaumont be, and the same is
repealed.
Section 2 .
That if any section, subsection, sentence, cla'JSO ID:c:
phrase of this ordinance, or the application of same to ,ri
particular set of persons or circumstances, should for a;Cly r aii:3on
be held 'to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect
remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such end thc� va r::Lous
portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared ti,:) be
severable.
Section 3 .
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conf]1.J.ct
herewith are repealed to the extent of the conflict only .
Section 4.
Any person who violates any provision of this arl.ina,ince
shall, upon conviction, be punished as provided in SectkI:)n. 1 ..-�3 of
the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas.
